Junior Foxhunting Day

We will be waving the capping fee for all junior riders! Come and enjoy the fun.

Arrive early- Hunt starts promptly at 8:00!

Tailgate Lunch to Follow the Hunt. Please make sure to RSVP so we have a head count

You’ll meet the awesome hounds who follow the scent and lead riders on a merry chase. Meet the huntsman (and super Mom Stephanie) who stays with her incredible pack as they move through the fields and woods. Meet the hunt staff who keep the hounds safe and help the huntsman track the progress of the hunt. Follow along in the group (field) appropriate to the speed you and your mount feel comfortable with.

Dress: Riders are encouraged to wear tan or light colored britches with paddock boots, dress boots, or half chaps, coat (black, tweed, or other dark colored jacket is all acceptable). No hunt clothes? No problem! Just have your child wear whatever is comfortable or what they have. The most important thing is to have fun and be comfortable – not what you look like. Be sure to keep an eye on the weather and dress to be comfortable.
