New this year is an evening ride!!!

Friday July 31st @ 5:30pm from Jack’s Field

Sunday August 23rd @ 11am from Day Family Farm

The OCHC sponsored trail rides are a special opportunity to explore some spectacular, private trails not open to the public with a friendly group of people. A walk-trot and a walk-trot-canter group will be offered. The rides leave on time so please arrive 30 mins prior and ride lasts between 1.5 – 2 hours.

Cost: $35 per horse and rider; tailgate social to follow ride.

All riders must have ASTM approved helmets, boots with a heel (no sneakers), current coggins and signed releases.

Bring Current proof of Negative Coggins for each horse you bring onsite (taken in last 12 months)

Trail Ride Series

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? Be sure to arrive early. We move off right at the appointed hour, so everyone needs to be mounted and ready to go!

HOW FAST WILL WE GO? Riders will be grouped by riding ability and experience – let us know how you ride, when you register. We will work hard to place you in a comfortable “flight” or group.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Wear comfortable, seasonally appropriate riding clothes with an ASTM helmet and sturdy boots. Clean horse and tack will make you look smart! (Old Chatham has nice polo shirts – let us know, if you would like to buy one, and we will arrange to get one to you.)

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS! Please fill out the release waiver on line or print it and come with a signed copy that is legible and includes an emergency contact. Please show or text us a current coggins of each horse you bring.
